Delete your TaiChiAI account

You can delete your TaiChiAI or TaiChiAI Coach account, and the data that goes with it, at any time.

In the app

1. Open TaiChiAI (or TaiChiAI Coach) and sign in.
2. Go to Account.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, email support@taichiai.app from the email address of your account, with the subject “Delete my TaiChiAI account”. We confirm by email and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your account and profile, your body measurements, your scores and progress, your routines, your lessons, your reviews and reports, and your login details.

What is kept

• Records of lesson fees and of the commissions invoiced to instructors, for as long as accounting and tax law requires.
• For a student, a one-way code made from the email address (the address cannot be read back from it), so that the same email address cannot be used to start a new free week.
• A tai chi coach’s recorded poses stay, so students can keep practising; the coach’s account is closed and anonymous, keeping only their gender and body measurements.
• Database backups, which are deleted after 30 days.
